What you’ll do
We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Transport Engineer to join our Transport and Stormwater Engineering Planning team. Day to day you will work with all areas of Council and the State Government to deliver robust integrated transport network solutions for the community. From planning for all modes of transport, works programs, service plans, modelling and asset management to design reviews, you will have the opportunity to work across a variety of projects to make our area vibrant and liveable for years to come.

What you’ll bring to the team
You’re a passionate Engineer with experience across the project lifecycle including; investigations, planning, design and project management. You will have demonstrated experience working in a multi-disciplinary team across the design and construction of significant transport infrastructure projects. You will be able to provide technical expertise across a number of transport related matters from land use planning to significant road upgrades and provide technical input and project advice for colleagues and juniors across the team. You will have demonstrated experience in delivering high quality technical and non-technical reports. While not mandatory, having an understanding of local government standards and processes and experience with local government planning and design would be beneficial.

This is a full time, permanent role, with package in the range of $120,000 - $145,000 per annum (depending on skills and experience), inclusive of civil liabilities allowance, superannuation and car allowance. The role is 35 hour a week, with access to our Flexible Working Hours policy.
