About the Role

Council’s Waste Services team is seeking a Waste Officer to coordinate waste data and reporting along with administration of waste contracts and provide support to other areas of Council’s Waste operations.


As the Waste Officer, you will assist with tendering processes, administer the domestic bin register, respond to customer service enquires in relation to waste, maintain weighbridge and transfer station communications including weighbridge software (WasteMan) and assist with other tasks as required.


About You

The successful candidates will have demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills and will have sound computer skills.



This is a full time temporary (maternity cover) role, with a starting salary of $1,152.90 per week for a 35 hour week worked in accordance with Council’s Flexible Working Hours policy + 9.5% Superannuation.
