We currently have a Project Administration Officer opportunity available within our Stakeholder Relations team in the Infrastructure Division. Utilising your highly developed organisational and written communication skills you shall assist management and the broader section to manage deadlines, support organisational initiatives, monitor reporting and produce documentation.
About the team
The Project Administration Officer is part of the Infrastructure Stakeholder Relations team that sits within Council’s Infrastructure Planning group. The group is responsible for transport (roads, bridges and footpaths), stormwater, water, sewer and fleet services. The Stakeholder Relations team specifically manages day to day internal and external customer interactions including related administrative and operational duties for the broader Infrastructure Division.
About the role
The Project Administration Officer provides a wide range of administrative and office support activities to facilitate the efficient day to day operation of the team, management, and other staff. This position is responsible for providing responsive and customer focussed (CRM) administrative support including processing related applications, quotations, correspondence and reports.
Within this role you will:
- Assist in the coordination of the Stakeholder Relations Manager’s time, priorities and deadlines;
- Provide administrative support for customer enquiries via Customer Request Management system; (CRMs) for the team including monitoring, actioning as applicable and related reporting and data management;
- Provide administrative support for infrastructure-related registers, databases and systems for Transport, Stormwater, Water and Sewer, contract plant and equipment portfolio;
- Support the team in the use of ERDMs and any other systems to ensure accurate information capture and management.

This is a Grade 7 role, with a starting salary of $55,462 per annum plus 9.5% superannuation. The role is 35 hour a week, with access to Council’s Flexible Working Hours policy.

Port Macquarie-Hastings Council’s Infrastructure Planning Group is responsible for the management and custodianship of over $2 Billion of community assets including roads, bridges, water, sewer, and the stormwater drainage network. We respond to close to 10,000 stakeholder enquires every year regarding our 330km of piped stormwater, 915km of sealed roads, 459km of unsealed roads, 182,791m2 of footpaths, 122 bridges, 3,846km² water catchment area and 28,000 sewer connections.
