About the Role

The primary responsibilities of the Water Operations Attendant is to undertake maintenance and construction works associated with the Port Macquarie-Hastings Council water supply reticulation network including water and sewer infrastructure.

Specifically you will be required to:

  • Complete installation, repairs and maintenance of water and recycled water services;
  • Complete connections, repairs and maintenance of water and recycled water mains and other components within the reticulation system;
  • Respond to emergencies and organise resources/materials as required.

About You

To be successful in this role you shall require:

  • Certificate III in Water Operations, or other relevant industry experience;
  • Demonstrated experience with installation, repair and maintenance of water services;
  • Current class C driver’s license
  • Ability to participate in the after-hours on-call roster.

Remuneration

This is a full time role, with a remuneration in the range of $51,464 - $57,895 p.a (depending on skills, experience and qualifications), plus superannuation for a 38 hour week worked in accordance with Council’s Flexible Working Hours policy.
