Water & Sewer Operations Team Leader - Sewer

About the Role
We are currently seeking candidates with significant civil construction experience, and/or relevant trade qualifications to lead and motivate a small team in the construction and maintenance works associated with Council sewerage schemes. This is a great opportunity for candidates who are looking to develop their skills, both technical and supervisory. If you are a motivated team player with the ability to think on your feet this is the role for you.
To be successful in this role you shall require:
- Demonstrated experience with installation, repair and maintenance of water and sewer supply works;
- Proven ability to lead, motivate and supervise field staff and contractors to achieve results.

This is a full time role, with a remuneration in the range of $59,294 - $66,722 p.a (depending on skills and experience), plus superannuation, for a 38 hour week.

Port Macquarie-Hastings Council’s Infrastructure Operations Team is responsible the management and custodianship of over $2 Billion of community assets including water and waste water infrastructure and water treatment systems, which alone consist 5 sewage treatment plants, 155 sewerage pumping stations, 726km of sewer mains and 12,434 manholes.
