About the Role

The Asset Management Officer (Transport and Stormwater) role is responsible for the sustainable management of transport and stormwater assets to meet the strategic direction of Port Macquarie-Hastings Council. This involves the collection of data for assets in the form of classification, attribution, condition and geospatial location; and updating and maintaining the Asset Register and GIS mapping layers for transport and stormwater assets. In addition, the role will work closely with the Transport and Stormwater Network Group in the development of capital works programs, Asset Management Plans and long term financial plans.

To be successful in this role you will have working knowledge of pavement design, construction and assessment combined with a relevant qualification. Experience in procurement, asset registers and managing data is also required. A class C Drivers licence is essential.

Desirable requirements include experience with relevant software application programs such as Civica Authority, ESRI ArcGIS and Deighton dTIMS.

Remuneration

This is a full time permanent role, with remuneration in the range of $78,976-$88,858 per annum (depending on skills and experience) for a 35 hour week worked in accordance with Council’s Flexible Working Hours policy, plus 9.5% superannuation.
