About the Role
Join Council’s Transport and Stormwater Network Engineering Team to assist in the planning, programming and delivery of civil infrastructure projects across the local government area.
To be successful in this position you will hold a degree in Civil Engineering complimented by recent experience in a similar role. You will demonstrate strong project management skills and an ability to successfully deliver projects. You possess strong computer skills including experience using AutoCad and/or 12D software along with sound communication skills with sensitivity in managing community expectations. A class C driver’s licence and White Card are also required.
Working knowledge of relevant legislation, government procurement processes and/or transport corridor planning is desirable.
This is a full time temporary role for 2 years, with remuneration in the range of $87,103-$98,032pa including allowances (depending on skills and experience) for a 35 hour week with access to Council’s Flexible Working Hours policy, plus 9.5% superannuation. A vehicle option will also be negotiated with the successful candidate.
