About the Role
In this newly created role you will carry out and coordinate the peer review process of Part 5 approvals associated with Council developments.
The successful applicant will hold a relevant qualification or significant experience deemed equivalent along with comprehensive knowledge of relevant environmental legislation including proven experience with Part 5 determinations. You will have strong communication skills and computer skills and have experience in the facilitation of expert advice to stakeholders, government agencies and the community. A current driver’s licence is also essential.
Desirable requirements include a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and competency in Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
This is a full time permanent role, with remuneration in the range of $80,247-$90,321 pa (depending on skills and experience) for a 35 hour week with access to Council’s Flexible Working Hours policy, plus 9.5% superannuation. A vehicle option will also be negotiated with the successful candidate.
